The New Canadian Friendship Centre first opened its doors on May 14, 2013, in response to the vision of Centre Street Church to come alongside people who are new to Canada. We welcome all people, including refugees, regardless of their immigration status. We help by giving friendship, and practical help to be a part of Canadian life.

We provide ESL classes, Citizenship Classes, sewing, baking, a Children’s Program, and other classes and workshops.

Our programs and services are offered free of charge to people of all faiths, or no faith, who come to our Centre. We are able to offer these programs through the generosity of volunteers who are followers of Jesus and who give of their time and talents in many different capacities, as they seek to “Love God” and “Love Others”.

We are located in the Encompass Partnerships building at 3851 54 Ave NE.

We welcome you to come and visit us soon!
